People learn using different styles. Some may prefer to watch videos, some to do Computer Based Training, (CBT), some prefer memorising text books. If this isn't you and you prefer an experienced instructor to guide you through the learning; to talk to, and actually receive immediate human feedback learn from the experiences of that instructor then these these courses are for you.
This is not Computer Based Training, where you sit and work through a set of narrated slides, although it is on a computer or tablet. This is instructor guided Ground School where you interact with an instructor as you would in an aircraft or classroom; with all the amenities of a classroom. It's live too, so questions are answered and feedback is immediate.
Whether you're studying for your exams, or a PPL who’s keeping up to date or needing refresher training, nothing can impart the same level of understanding that an instructor with over 40 years in aviation can.

SIMULATOR HIRE
All training with an instructor is recorded signed off in training notes with copies of any approaches by a CAA Approved Instrument FI and Ground Examiner
Commercially licensed, SEP Simulator for hire. Our Simulator exceeds the standards for a BITD Simulator includes the following functional items.
- EASA approved Force Feedback flying controls
- Garmin G530 and Full IFR Bendix King Avionics
Training is available for the CAA UK IRR/IMC rating including
- VOR, ADF and GNSS Navigation
- ILS, ADF, RNAV Approaches

All Training is completed under our DTO GBR DTO(0323) and all completed modules are recorded in a student pack. A signed Course Completion Certificate (CA5016) including any exams sat and passed is issued to the student at the completion of a course that requires that.

About Your Instructor
Chris Joined the Royal Air Force in 1976 at 17 years of age and was an Aircraft Electrical and Instrument Technician for 13 years. He learned to fly at RAF Brize Norton in 1982 and after leaving the Royal Air Force in 1988 qualified as a Commercial Pilot and Flying Instructor. He further upgraded to full instructor in 1991 to teach Applied Instrument and night flying.
Currently, a CAA Flight, Ground Examiner and is the full time Deputy Chief Flying Instructor at Cambrian Flying Club, Swansea Airport.
Chris will be the face and voice you interact with as your guided through your studies.

The ON Line Ground School Cancelation Policy
There is no fee for rearranging a booking time where available. A full refund will be issued for cancelations for any session booked when given 48 hours’ notice. Refunds are issued to the payment method used. Please note, this may take a while to process.
In the event of The ON Line Ground School cancelling a session then an offer to rebook will be made in the first instance, this includes short notice booking where the ON-Line Ground School is unable to provide a class. Where this is not possible a full refund will be offered.
Group Policy – if the number of a group booking is less than 3 then a rebook or refund will be offered where this happens up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson after which the session will proceed as normal with however many participance as there are.
Where a cancelation of less than 48 hours is made no refund is offered.
A full refund can only be provided if a customer has not accessed the learning portal. Where a customer has accessed the portal and any of the courses purchased a proportional refund may be granted based on the courses accessed.
